A warm welcome to our family run business we established in 2004, running successfully at the heart of lancashire. The business has grown through 3 generations of family, passing down the secret recipes and family culture allowing the customer to experience hospitality and great food. The name of the restaurant was inspired by a city in uzbekistan, called bukhara. It’s the seventh largest city in the country and has a population of around 280,000. Bukhara is an ancient city in the central asian country of uzbekistan. It was a prominent stop on the silk road trade route between the east and the west, and a major medieval centre for theology and culture. It still contains hundreds of well- preserved places of worship, bazaars, dating largely from the 9th to the 17th centuries. History dates to the local traders travelling to different continents, where they would often bring back spices from north india and introduced a new way of cooking, combining indian spices with local foods producing delicious, mouth-watering dishes. Since our inception, we have provided exceptional dining experiences and serving exquisite north indian cuisine to revive the aura and atmosphere of bukhara, uzbekistan. We use fresh ingredients individually pan cooked food with fresh spices giving an authentic taste priding ourselves on consistency.
